Aug. 2, 2011, Santa Fe, NM - Presidential candidate Gary Johnson will return to New Hampshire August 4-6 to promote his ideas for balancing the federal budget, restoring the value of the dollar, reforming the tax system, and strengthening America’s economy.
He will visit small businesses in the Merrimack Valley area Thursday and Friday, and he will attend the Barrington/Lee/Madbury Tea Party Picnic Saturday followed by a house party in Pembroke Saturday evening. The former New Mexico Governor announced his candidacy for president April 21 in Concord, and this will be his 14th visit to New Hampshire in the last 18 months.
Governor Johnson will be on hand for a variety of media opportunities during his trip. Details and locations of his schedule are provided below:
Thursday, Aug. 4
8:30-9:30am: Gov. Johnson will visit City Side Grille in Concord for breakfast and conversation with the staff and local residents (25 Manchester St).
2:00-4:00pm: Gov. Johnson will meet with small business owners at the Amoskeag Business Incubator in Manchester (33 South Commercial St.).
4:30-5:00pm: Gov. Johnson will visit the Downtown Manchester Farmer’s Market (corner of Concord Street and Manchester Street).
6:00pm-7:00pm: Gov. Johnson will participate in a weekly “group run” with the crew from Runner’s Alley in Nashua (meeting at store: 4 Coliseum Ave # 2).
Friday, Aug. 5
8:30am–9:30am: Gov. Johnson will visit Mary Anne’s Diner in Derry for breakfast and conversation with the staff and local residents (29 East Broadway).
11:30am-NOON: Gov. Johnson will visit Alec’s Shoes in Nashua (201 Main Street).
1:00pm-1:30pm: Gov. Johnson will visit Castro’s Back Room Cigar Shop in Nashua (119 Main Street).
3:30-4:15pm: Gov. Johnson will visit Lull Farm in Hollis (65 Broad Street).
4:30-5:00pm: Gov. Johnson will visit Hollis General Store (6 Ash Street).
Saturday, Aug. 6
9:00-11:30am: Gov. Johnson will participate in a lit-drop sponsored by the New Hampshire Young Republicans in Barrington to support Honey Puterbaugh, a Republican special election candidate running for state representative.
11:30am-1:30pm: Gov. Johnson will attend the Barrington/Lee/Madbury Tea Party Picnic at Dante’s Pasta & Vino in Barrington (320 Route 125).
2:00-2:30pm: Gov. Johnson will visit River Run Bookstore in Portsmouth (20 Congress Street).
2:30-3:00pm: Gov. Johnson will visit Breaking New Grounds in Portsmouth (14 Market Square).
3:00-3:30pm: Gov. Johnson will visit Bagel Works Cafe in Portsmouth (9 Congress Street).
