Presidential candidate Gary Johnson will return to New Hampshire for a nine day “marathon” campaign visit August 20-28. He will begin with an appearance at the New Hampshire Young Republicans’ Lobster Bake in New Castle, and in the eight days that follow, he will meet with voters in Berlin, Hampton, Jaffrey, Manchester, Newmarket, Loudon, Center Harbor, Salem, Derry, Littleton, Claremont, and Concord. The former New Mexico Governor announced his candidacy for president April 21 in Concord, and this will be his 15th visit to New Hampshire in the last 18 months.
Governor Johnson will be on hand for a variety of media opportunities during his trip. Details and locations of his schedule are provided below:
Saturday, Aug. 20
9:30-10:30am: Gov. Johnson will visit Fast Eddie’s Diner in Hampton for breakfast and conversation with the staff and local residents (320 Lafayette Road).
11:00-3:00pm: Gov. Johnson will attend the New Hampshire Young Republicans’ Lobster Bake and Straw Poll at Great Island Common in New Castle (301 Wentworth Road).
Sunday, Aug. 21
2:00-4:00pm: Gov. Johnson will attend the Presidential Summer Celebration hosted by Americans for Prosperity in Center Harbor (at the Former Our Lady of Victory Church, corner of Kelsea Avenue and Bean Road).
Monday, Aug. 22
Noon-1:30pm: Gov. Johnson will visit Northern Forest Heritage Park in Berlin (961 Main Street).
4:00-5:30: Gov. Johnson will visit Chutter’s candy store in Littleton (43 Main Street) and tour downtown Littleton.
Tuesday, Aug. 23
12:15-1:30pm: Gov. Johnson will speak at a meeting of the Concord Rotary Club at Bektash Shrine Center in Concord (189 Pembroke Road).
2:00-2:30pm: Gov. Johnson will visit Castro’s Back Room in Concord (5 Depot Street).
4:00-5:00pm: Gov. Johnson will visit Miles Smith Farm in Loudon (56 Whitehouse Road).
Wednesday, Aug. 24
9:00-10:00-am: Gov. Johnson will visit Big Bean in Newmarket for breakfast and conversation with the staff and local residents (118 Main Street).
5:00-5:30: Gov. Johnson will visit Al’s Gun and Reel Shop in Derry (5 Linwood Avenue).
6:00-7:30pm: Gov. Johnson will host a “Get to Know Gary Johnson” town hall at Pinkerton Academy in Derry (5 Pinkerton Street). Doors open at 5:45pm.
Thursday, Aug. 25
7:00-8:00pm: Gov. Johnson will host a “Get to Know Gary Johnson” town hall at New Hampshire Technical Institute in Concord (4 Institute Drive). Doors open at 6:45pm.
Friday, Aug. 26
7:30-8:30am: Gov. Johnson will speak at a meeting of the Greater Salem Rotary Club in the Lou Smith Dining Room at Rockingham Park in Salem (Rockingham Park Boulevard).
5:00-7:00pm: Gov. Johnson will speak at the Calvin Coolidge Clambake hosted by the Maine Republican Liberty Caucus at Wolfe’s Neck State Park in Freeport, Maine.
Saturday, Aug. 27
11:00-Noon: Gov. Johnson will speak at the Live Free or Die Rally in Jaffrey (Downtown Jaffrey Common).
1:30-3:00: Gov. Johnson will speak at the Claremont Tea Party (location TBA).
5:30-8:30: Gov. Johnson will attend a barbecue hosted by Richard Feldman at Lena’s Lodge in Rindge (129 Mountain Road).
Sunday, Aug. 23
Noon-2pm: Gov. Johnson will attend the Manchester Republican Committee’s Annual Cookout and Candidate Fair at Theo’s Restaurant in Manchester (102 Elm Street).
